Yes. The small people went crazy.
Yes. I did a little too. (I mean, I love Perry the Platypus)
And my mom? Well, naturally, she had fun as well.
But how could we not?
Delaney and Cooper have been counting down the days since I first surprised them with the news that we were heading to LA to see the latest movie from their favorite characters. And finally, today was THAT day…the day in Hollywood with the red…I mean TEAL carpet…the day they would settle into their seats in the famed El Capitan Theater, (right across from the Kodak Theater, I might add) and watch this adventurous duo (and friends) on the big screen,
Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension didn’t disappoint. How could it? With imagination and fun to keep the small people talking long after we walked out of the theater and intelligent wit, whip-smart characters and even some sensitive moments that remind parents kiddos need room to explore, time to imagine, and enough love to feel safe to do both.
The official premiere for Phineas and Ferb : Across the 2nd Dimension is this Friday, August 5th at 8pmEST/PST on The Disney Channel. If you have Phineas and Ferb lovers in your home, this needs to be on your calendar. In fact, make it a little party and let your small people invite some friends over. Their smiles will tell you it was a good idea. Promise.
My family and I were guests of Disney for this Premiere and ‘teal carpet’ adventure. And we are grateful. Though we were invited guests, and we did say we would ve happy to share our experience, my opinion ( and those of my children) are ours alone.
