Setting Sail with the Carnival Magic

Summer time just smells like vacation, like a beachy mix of sand, ocean water and sunshine.

Well, if you’re a Smith – in my home, it also smells like the ball field, but I digress.  In my personal world, I have always associated this time of year with ‘getting away’, with all things sunshine and the sea.

In 10 days, I’ll be doing just that with Carnival Cruise Lines aboard the Magic….joining a crew of other bloggers and their families on the #Let’sGoRetreat – a Carnival 7 Day Western Caribbean cruise- setting sail from Port Canaveral.

And that is just what this adventure will be: Magic.

There are few things I love more than being out on the water…. and a cruise like this one gives me this special brand of happy, allows me to retreat with online friends, learn more about what the Magic has to offer travelers and families and explore the beauty of the Caribbean.

• COZUMEL

The Magic itself is a treasure trove of joy, offering dining options that are already making my mouth water (Cucina del Capitano, Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que, and the Blue Iguana Cantina) so many On-Board Activities that I want to experience – from the Cloud 9 Spa to the Punchliner Comedy Club, from Cooking Demonstrations to the Alchemy Bar and of course, the Pools and don’t forget excursions in each port.
