Let’s talk breakfast….it is, after all, a favorite in our home.
I know it is said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day…. it gives you fuel and gets your mind and body moving…but I also think some of the very best foods fall in to the breakfast category. Since I was a little girl, eggs have been a staple and that hasn’t changed.
I wanted to share an easy favorite I know you will love. Not only is it one you can make in only a matter of minutes, but it is delicious. Perfect for getting you and the kids fed, happy and out the door.

I used to hate eggs as a kid, but I’ve completely come around as an adult, thankfully! They really are perfect for getting in protein after a morning workout, and I love the idea of popping them in a mug so they’re even easy to take out the door!

Great idea! My daughter lived in a dorm over the summer with no kitchen nearby. She tried everything in a microwave, but I never thought to suggest omelets. I’ll share with her for the future:)

Danielle, I’ve had a single egg microwaved in a cup, but never thought to make an omelette in one! Great idea & easy to boot. Gotta try it! Pinned. Thanks for sharing!

This is a great way to get an omelet ready fast! I haven’t ever tried putting cheese and ham in my microwaved egg, that is a good idea I will use. Stopping by from the #HomeMattersParty linky.
