My small people are officially out of school for the summer. They couldn’t be happier.
Do you remember those days? The freedom to play? To run, jump, organize neighborhood games of hide-and-go seek at dusk, to beg for one more game of Marco Polo even when the temps were dropping and your lips were turning blue?
Me too.
I also remember the Siren’s call of the ice cream truck.
But what about making a slushie at home instead? Not only does this satisfy the summer-sweet-tooth, but you can get the kids involved in the process.
